What is the Archilight FleXCite 16x16mm Dual-Bend Neon designed for?
This LED neon strip is designed for architectural and contour lighting where smooth, continuous illumination is needed. Its dual-bend construction makes it suitable for curved, irregular, and complex surfaces in commercial, hospitality, retail, and landscape projects. The IP67 silicone housing also supports both indoor and outdoor use.
What does dual-bend mean for this neon strip?
Dual-bend means the FleXCite NS1616-2467GLE can bend in both horizontal and vertical directions. That gives designers more flexibility than single-bend neon when working around corners, contours, and non-linear surfaces. It is intended for projects where shape adaptability is a key requirement.
What colour options are available in this product family?
This family is available in Warm White, Neutral White, Cool White, and RGB versions. The white options provide different colour temperatures for different project aesthetics, while RGB supports colour-changing applications. Variant-specific output differs, with listed brightness values of 773 lm for Warm White, 840 lm for Neutral White and Cool White, and 290 lm for RGB.
Is the Archilight FleXCite 16x16mm Dual-Bend Neon suitable for outdoor environments?
Yes, it is rated IP67, which makes it suitable for outdoor environments as well as indoor spaces. The silicone extrusion housing is designed for weather durability, UV resistance, and long-term colour stability. It also carries an IK06 impact rating for added durability.
What are the main technical specifications of this neon strip?
The product operates on 24V DC and has a 16mm by 16mm cross-section. It provides uniform neon-style illumination with a 120 degree beam angle and typical power consumption of approximately 14W per metre. The white version is listed with LED density up to 144 LED/m, and maximum run length is up to 30m depending on model.
Is a driver included, and is this product dimmable?
A driver is not included with this product family. The strip is dimmable via PWM when used with appropriate LED drivers or controllers. This makes it suitable for projects that need adjustable light levels without changing the product family.
How durable is the Archilight FleXCite 16x16mm Dual-Bend Neon for long-term projects?
This product family is built with a silicone housing that offers better weathering and colour stability than traditional PVC-based neon solutions. It is rated for up to 50,000 hours lifespan at L70 with Tc at or below 65 degrees Celsius. The range is also backed by a 5-year warranty.
