Description
Features:
The MINI series LED remotes use RF 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology and the control distance (under no interference) can be up to 30 meters.
Connect to a P5 controller with 5 channel outputs which supports DIM/CT/RGB/RGBW/RGBCW light. One remote can control a large amount of controllers within the effective range to achieve different functions, such as turning lights on/off, adjusting brightness, CT, static RGB color, effects of dynamic modes, and recalling scenes, which meet the needs of users for different lighting applications
Dimming remote (M1A/M1B) has brightness shortcuts that allow you to switch the brightness percentage with one press; CT remote (M2A/M2B) has the night light function that allows you to switch to low brightness with one press; RGBW remote (M4A/M4B) and RGBCW remote (M5A/M5B) allow you to switch dynamic modes through the mode button, as well as to loop playing the effects of 12 modes through pressing different buttons together.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of lighting control is the Ltech M5B Mini Remote designed for?
The M5B is an RGBCW handheld remote for lights that use red, green, blue, cool white, and warm white control. It is intended for use with an Ltech P5 controller that supports 5-channel DIM, CT, RGB, RGBW, and RGBCW lighting. This model is a single-zone remote, so it is aimed at controlling one lighting zone at a time.
Is the M5B compatible with a P5 controller?
Yes. The product description specifically states that the M5B connects to a P5 controller with 5-channel outputs. That makes it suitable for RGBCW control functions such as on/off, brightness adjustment, color temperature adjustment, static RGB color selection, dynamic modes, and scene recall when paired with that controller.
How is the M5B different from other remotes in the MINI series?
The M5B is the RGBCW version in the MINI series, so it is intended for more advanced color and white-tone control than dimming-only or CT-only remotes. Ltech notes that the RGBW and RGBCW versions also support mode switching through the mode button and can loop through 12 dynamic effects using button combinations. Buyers choosing between MINI remotes should match the remote type to the lighting control mode they need.
What wireless range can I expect from the Ltech M5B?
Ltech rates the M5B for up to 30 meters of control distance under no-interference conditions. Because it uses RF 2.4GHz wireless transmission, real-world range can vary depending on obstacles and surrounding signal conditions. The published 30-meter figure is the maximum stated operating distance for this model.
Can the M5B be used in commercial or demanding environments?
It is rated for a working temperature range of -30°C to 55°C, which gives it a wider operating range than a typical indoor-only consumer remote. That makes it a reasonable fit for many commercial lighting control environments where handheld wireless control is needed. Buyers should still confirm the actual site conditions stay within the specified temperature range.
What power source does the M5B remote use?
The M5B operates on 3Vdc from one CR2032 button battery. Ltech also lists standby current at less than 2uA, which indicates very low idle power draw. For a compact handheld remote, that is useful where long shelf life and low maintenance are important.
