Overview

XLC-60-24-MA is the 24V output model of this series: rated power 60W, typical efficiency 87%.

XLC-60-MA series is a 60W with constant power and constant voltage output LED driver . It can operate from 100~305V AC and output current ranging between 900 mA to 1700 mA selectable by DIP switch. Thanks to high efficiency up to 90%, it is able to operate for -25℃ ~90℃ case temperature under free air convection. XLC-60-MA series is designed based on latest safety regulations with matter wireless dimming .It provides more flexibility for LED Lighting application.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Output hiccups under no-load condition.
3. Please refer to “DRIVER METHODS OF LED MODULE”.
4. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
5. Current ripple is measured 50%~100% of maximum voltage under rated power delivery.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. Efficiency is measured at 1050mA/54V output set by DIP switch.
8. For XLC-S series: RCM is on a voluntary basis. Non IC classification Independent LED control gear is not suitable for residential installations. For XLC(except -S) series: RCM is on a voluntary basis and meets relevant IEC or AS/NZS standards complying with AS/NZS 4417.1.
9. Standby power consumption is measured at 230VAC.
10. Flicker is measured at full load with the light source provided by MEAN WELL.
11. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. 12. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Yes. The XLC-60-24-MA supports Matter 1.3 wireless dimming, integrating natively with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and other Matter-certified platforms. The 24V/2.5A (60W) constant voltage output is compatible with standard 24V dimmable LED strips.

Is the XLC-60-24-MA suitable for smart office 24V LED strip installations?

Yes. Matter 1.3 compatibility allows direct integration with building automation systems and smart lighting controllers, eliminating proprietary gateways. With 60W at 24V, it supports typical commercial 24V strip runs. The 0.1% minimum dim level provides a wide, smooth dimming range.

How much 24V LED strip can the XLC-60-24-MA power?

The driver delivers a maximum of 60W at 24V and 2.5A. A 24V strip rated at 10W/m supports up to 6 meters; a 14.4W/m strip supports approximately 4.1 meters. Check your strip's rated power per meter and do not exceed 60W total load.

Does the XLC-60-24-MA work on both 120V and 230V mains?

Yes. The driver accepts 100–305VAC input, covering 120V North American and 230V European supplies. The Matter wireless dimming function operates over this wide input range. Power output and dimming both function normally on standard residential and commercial mains voltages.

Can the XLC-60-24-MA be installed in a damp or outdoor location?

No. The XLC-60-24-MA has no IP ingress protection rating and is designed for dry, enclosed indoor installations only. Moisture exposure must be avoided. For outdoor or damp applications, select a driver with an IP65 or higher rating.
