The Mean Well XLC-60-H-BS is a 60W multiple-stage constant power LED driver delivering 1.4A across a 9~54V constant current region, with the output current selectable by DIP switch. It is housed in an independent-type plastic housing supplied with a strain-relief cap, is Class II with no earth connection required, and has built-in active PFC with flicker-free output to the CE ErP directive.
Accepting 110~305VAC universal input, the XLC-60-H-BS operates at a case temperature of -25°C to 90°C and carries CB, CCC, CE, EAC, ENEC and SELV approvals. It supports 1-10V, 10V PWM and resistance (3-in-1) dimming. Suitable for emergency lighting (EL) installations on a 176~280VDC supply. Protected against short circuit and over temperature, and backed by a 5-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the XLC-60-H-BS for LED downlights installed in locations with vibration or cable movement?
Yes. The XLC-60-H-BS includes a strain-relief feature on the output cable, which helps prevent connector fatigue in installations subject to vibration or where cables may be pulled or moved. It delivers 60W at 1400mA constant current with 3-in-1 dimming.
Is the XLC-60-H-BS a good fit for dimmable LED signage requiring mechanical cable protection?
Yes. The strain-relief design of the XLC-60-H-BS makes it appropriate for LED signage installations where output cables are routed through tight channels or exposed to mechanical stress. It supports 3-in-1 dimming across the 9–54V CC range at up to 60W.
Can the XLC-60-H-BS drive LED arrays in industrial built-in fixtures that need a strain-relieved cable exit?
Yes. The built-in strain-relief is specifically useful in industrial luminaire applications where output wiring may be subject to repeated flexing. The constant current output is adjustable from 0.9A to 1.7A via the dip switch; the number of LEDs supported depends on each LED's forward voltage within the 9–54V range.
Does the strain-relief on the XLC-60-H-BS affect its operating temperature range or certifications?
No. The XLC-60-H-BS retains the same -25°C to +90°C operating range and the same CB, CCC, CE, EAC, ENEC, and c_selv certifications as other XLC-60-H variants. The strain-relief is a mechanical enhancement only.
What dimming interfaces are compatible with the XLC-60-H-BS?
The XLC-60-H-BS supports 3-in-1 dimming: 0–10V analog, PWM, and resistance. Current is set via the dip switch to any value in the 0.9A to 1.7A range.
How does the XLC-60-H-BS differ from the XLC-60-H-B?
Both are 60W, 1400mA constant-current drivers with 3-in-1 dimming and dip-switch current setting. The XLC-60-H-BS adds a strain-relief on the output cable, making it better suited for installations where mechanical stress on the wiring is a concern.
